A primary lowland rainforest which offers visitors the opportunity to experience some of the worlds best preserved and fascinating rainforest ecology and wildlife. Constructed at the edge of the Danum River, the lodge offers comfortable and well furnished rooms. The lodge offers guests to explore the incredibly diverse and complex primal forest without sacrificing the basic comforts.

3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS (EX-LAHAD DATU) DAY ONE: Meet at Borneo Nature Tours Sdn. Bhd. office for registration. Scheduled Transfer at 9:30 am, an overland journey on a logging road to Borneo Rainforest Lodge for 2½ hours. Upon arrival at Borneo Rainforest Lodge, an exotic "Welcome Drink" will be served while the Front Office Personnel will brief you on the facilities available at the Lodge. In the afternoon, an introduction to the forest through "Nature Trail" and proceed to the "Canopy Walkway". In the evening, if weather permits a "Night Drive" in an open-air truck in search of nocturnal animals. Includes lunch & dinner

DAY TWO: Guided jungle activities - trek to the Kadazandusun burial site - "Coffin Cliff" then proceed with trekking to the "View Point" for a bird's eye view of the area. Descend to the "Jacuzzi Pool" for a refreshing dip. Optional: Water tubing for an hour in the Danum River or Trekking along the Segama River. In the evening, if weather permits, Night Walk around the lodge in search of nocturnal animals. If guests are birdwatchers, it is recommended that they ask for a specialised guide at an additional charge per day. Includes breakfast, lunch & dinner.

DAY THREE: Guided morning walk at the Segama Trail/Hornbill Trail. Check-out time is at 1:00 pm. Scheduled Transfer at 1:30 pm, an overland journey on a logging road to Lahad Datu Town. Includes breakfast and lunch

The Borneo Rainforest Lodge also organises an optional day trip (at an additional charge) for guest to visit Danum Valley Field Centre which is 40 minutes drive from the lodge, if guests are staying at the lodge for a minimum of 4 days/3 nights.
